Frequently Asked Questions

I got a random letter, what’s the deal?
Someone really likes your house and used The Write Home to let you know. You have no obligation to do anything, but should you be interested in hearing more, use the contact info included in the letter to get in touch with the sender.
How much does it cost to send a letter?
$3.00 -- which we think is a pretty good investment if it leads to your dream home.
When will my letter be delivered?
It takes between 3 and 7 days for your letter to be delivered.
Am I making an offer to buy a house?
No, not at all. You’re just letting a homeowner know that, should they be interested, you may be interested in purchasing their home. It’s just an introduction.
What if the homeowner doesn’t want to sell?
At least you tried. Even if you don’t hear from the homeowner right away, it’s in the back of their mind when the time does come for them to sell.
A homeowner got back to me, now what?
Congratulations! It’s entirely up to you how you proceed, you can talk to the homeowner, work with a real estate agent, or a number of any options.
Are you real estate agents?
Nope, we’re techies who spent way too much time looking for a house.
